A shared vision.Room for beautiful details.

A floral palette, a favorite flavor, the curve of a cake stand: small choices can bring an event together. de Lumière welcomes conversations with wedding planners, venue teams, and event professionals who care about those details as much as the final reveal.

What we can create together

Meet the chef behind the cake

French pastry training.A personal point of view.

Tina’s path took her from engineering to Le Cordon Bleu in California, followed by experience at Bouchon Bakery and a pastry-chef role at Northern Virginia’s 2941 Restaurant.

At de Lumière, that background informs an approach where flavor and finish belong together. The result should be as memorable on the plate as it is in the photograph.

From your first brief to the final details

Let’s make the planningfeel considered, too.

Share the occasion

Send the date, venue, approximate guest count, and design direction. A few inspiration photographs and an indicative budget help make the first conversation useful.

Shape the sweet details

Discuss cake design, flavors, dessert choices, and presentation with Tina. Ask about tasting options and identify the decisions your client needs to make.

Coordinate the day

Agree the delivery window, venue access, display location, and on-site contact. Confirm any setup, stand, floral, or serving responsibilities in the event arrangements.

Delivery is available within a 45-mile radius of Ashburn, VA. Availability, pricing, and event arrangements are confirmed individually. Explore the service area.

A good beginningis a simple brief.

For a client event, include the following in your message:

  • Your name, business or venue, and role
  • Event date, venue address, and guest count
  • Cake or dessert-table ideas and approximate budget
  • Delivery window and any venue requirements

Introducing your venue or exploring future referrals? Tell us about the events you host. You don’t need a confirmed date to say hello.

For your planning notes

A little clarity,before we begin.

Can we inquire on behalf of a client?

Yes. Introduce yourself and share the event brief. Let Tina know who should receive the proposal and who will approve the design, so the next steps are clear.

Can the cake follow our event’s design direction?

Share your colors, floral ideas, stationery, or mood board. Tina can discuss how to interpret the overall style in a cake or dessert selection, with the final design and practical details agreed together.

How do we arrange venue delivery and setup?

Include the full venue address, delivery window, access instructions, and on-site contact. Discuss any setup needs, stand arrangements, and coordination with your florist or catering team before confirming the order.

Can our venue discuss an ongoing relationship?

Absolutely—start with an introduction and tell Tina about your venue, typical events, and what you are looking for in a cake and dessert collaborator. Any ongoing arrangements can be discussed directly.

Let’s give your next eventa sweet story of its own.

Bring the brief, the mood board, or simply the first spark of an idea. We’d love to hear what you’re planning.
