Meet Chef Tina
French pastry artistry, made personal.
Chef Tina’s journey to pastry began with an unexpected ingredient: a degree in Electrical Communication Engineering. But her passion for creating beautiful desserts led her to Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in California, where she turned that passion into her profession.
She refined her craft at Bouchon Bakery in Los Angeles before making Northern Virginia her home. As Pastry Sous Chef at Layered Cake Pâtisserie, she worked alongside award-winning Chef Anthony Chavez.
She later became Pastry Chef at 2941 Restaurant under Executive Chef Bertrand Chemel. During her time there, Northern Virginia Magazine named 2941 the Best Restaurant in Northern Virginia.
Today, as founder and owner of de Lumière Pastry, Tina brings that experience to your celebrations, combining classical French techniques, artistic design, and premium ingredients. Her engineering background still finds its way into the kitchen—in carefully balanced flavors, delicate details, and beautifully constructed layers.
From a wedding’s first slice to a birthday’s last bite, her goal is simple: to create something that feels special, tastes wonderful, and brings people together.
Beautiful enough to admire. Delicious enough to ask for another slice.
